Top 100

Inspired by Bernard Goldberg's "100 People Who Are Screwing Up America (and Al Franken Is #37)", my list of 100 living (as far as I know) people who screw up any hope we have in fighting our way out of the U.S.A.'s energy predicament. People, people, we're thinking short term here. The evils you list ... it will take us 1,000 years maximum to recover from their mistakes: a drop in the bucket. I can think of a few people who are screwing up humanity for ever and ever ... and they probably don't even know it.

The Scarlet Letter mentality lives, my friends, and we support it every time we click.

P.S. Forgot to mention, the Joy Division reference ... you gotta know that less than .001% of the population gets that. I feel your pain, brother; keep up the thinking for yourself.

Last comment, I promise. I have to mention this because (just by coincidence) I ran across it about an hour ago; it's a coincidence because I've been looking for people who speak their minds despite what everyone else says, not necessarily just energy stuff.

"However, all you freaks who whine about how bad the U.S. government is for being in Iraq but STILL put gas in your Toyotas so you can drive to the video store and rent boring independent movies....JUST WHO DO YOU THINK IS PAYING FOR THIS WAR? THAT'S RIGHT---YOU ARE. If you'd like to whine about capitalism, then again I say restrict your driving only to necessary driving...."

The quantum entanglement that the MOBJECTIVIST weaves hints at information theory without disproving Shannon's elucidation of maximum entropic dystopia. Much like my grandson's school project essay called "Chaotic Fractals in Banana Pudding".

I usually rely on the tools of the Information Age to guide me through the shifting paradigms leading to Intelligent Design. Alas, the denizens of this blog have not seen the pinnacle of Dow 36,000 -- how sad.
